Project Description

This tree held sentimental value to the owners, so much so that they had us relocate it from their former home to their new one. We transplanted the Japanese Red Maple using an air spade.

Air Spading is a tree transplanting method that uses a large quantity of compressed air to blow the dirt away from the roots. This method can be used on trees and shrubs. The air spading advantage is that 100% of the root structure is saved, giving the plant a much better chance of survival.
